Project planning comes with years of experience, using and implementing many different mediums, such as yarns, paper, wood, textiles, clay and for expression use of color. I also implement the idea of sequence, timing, spatial awareness, and learning limits. We also teach safety by how to use basic tools like scissors, glue guns, sewing needles, sewing machines, utility knives, hammer nails and non-electric wood cutting tools to create useful items for Home decor or daily use.

Through projects with different materials and technics following life skills are included- fine motoric skills, gross motoric skills, eye hand coordination, following directions and creating something that can be used in their daily life.

Self-confidence, self-esteem, and becoming Proud of themselves that they accomplish something on their own is an essential short term goal in my studio.

I try to “plant a seed” into each students brain each visit and hope it goes with them for the rest of their life to help them become, great people as they walk through their journey.

Gabriela enjoys lot working with people who love to learn and experience new things.
